Staycation in La Jolla

We decided to go to beautiful La Jolla. I've lived in Southern California all my life, and even though I don't live close to the beach, I think of myself as a beach girl. The ocean brings much calmness. I think of the sea as a stress reliever. So I decided to book some rooms without telling my family and then told them to back their bags two days before leaving. I seriously needed to get away and do nothing but at a different location from my home or parent's home. We stayed at my favorite place in La Jolla, Scripps Inn. I've been keeping this beautiful place a secret. This beautiful location is a beachfront property with a small number of rooms. It's such a calm place, and the staff is super friendly.

All we did was walk, eat and relax. It was Valentina's first time at the beach. She loved the sand, but she wasn't so thrilled with the cold pacific ocean. It was also Valentinas first time staying at a hotel. She didn't do so bad as I thought she would. I hope she gets the travel spirit like her momma.

I got to relax on the balcony and smelled the ocean breeze that soothes my soul while drinking my coffee or my wine. We were there for two nights, but boy, I wish I had my place near the beach. Whenever I was feeling stressed id go over for the weekend. Talk about goals for the future.
